The University Library at the Central Campus is located in the exclusion zone of the found World War II bomb and therefore had to remain closed for the duration of the bomb defusing operation (update:On Monday, 1 March 2021, the library at the central campus will open from 1.30 p.m., the restricted area has been lifted )

On Monday, 01.03.2021, a World War II bomb found in the Virchowstraße in Cottbus will be defused. The university library in the IKMZ is located within the exclusion zone and will therefore remain closed. We will inform you here, if we are able to open in the afternoon.

(Update 1 p.m.: The exclusion zone has been lifted and the library will open at 1.30 p.m.)

The restrictions due to the corona pandemic are still in place.
