Atmospheric photographs of the lake Senftenberg

A photo exhibition with works by Sandra Eberhardt from Bernau will be shown in the media library at the BTU's Senftenberg campus.

Among other things, ten large-format color photos will be presented with a focus on Lake Senftenberg on its 50th birthday this year, as well as other works on the Lusatian Lakeland and the photographer's calendar with motifs from the state of Brandenburg.

The exhibition opening is part of the celebrations marking the tenth anniversary of the BTU. Thus, the photographs will also be shown on Saturday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of the BTU anniversary celebration. Until September 30, there will then be an opportunity to view them during the opening hours of the Senftenberg site library at Universitätsplatz 1, accessible via the main entrance on Großenhainer Straße.

The accomplished amateur photographer Sandra Eberhardt will be present at the opening and will guide through the exhibition. Sandra Eberhardt was born in 1978 in Finsterwalde and grew up in her early years in the small town of Henriette. Thus, she always had the brown coal mining in front of her eyes. She has now lived in Bernau near Berlin for 20 years. But she has always remained true to her roots in Lusatia. So Sandra Eberhardt can be found regularly in Lusatia and the Lakeland to discover new photo spots. Visiting her mother in Schipkau is a must. Already in childhood the camera was her constant companion. Over the last ten years, photography has now become a particularly important part of her life. From sunrise to sunset Sandra Eberhardt is gladly in nature on the way, in order to catch magic moments.
