Exercise to the lecture semiconductor technology

During the exercise, students have the opportunity to apply and deepen what they have learned in the lecture in practice. The exercise takes place as an on-site internship at the Leibniz Institute for High Performance Microelectronics during the lecture-free period. A current topic from the research of IHP is worked on under participation in a project team and professional guidance.  The assigned tasks cover issues from the areas of process technology device-characterization and test structures as well as semiconductor materials. The activities are carried out using state of the art laboratory equipment and facilities. At the end, the results will be presented within a short final colloquium.

The internship can be a starting point for a subsequent longer internship or for a thesis.
