1. Recalculation of Column C201

  • complete takeover of BP in house ASPEN-model

problems:

  • feed conditions (p, T , vapor and liquid fraction, mass flow unknown) vapor and liquid enters the column on different stages (in model)
  • head temperature too low (depends on feed temperature and vapor-liquid distribution)

2.Optimization and Validation

  • it’s not clear if further efforts will lead to any useful results for BP
