Information regarding the Seminar Geopedology (12959) SS 2021

Geopedology deals with an integrative approach of soil science, geomorphology and geology. In the Geopedology Seminar (12959), students will learn the main factors and processes controlling soil formation and soil properties as well as landform evolution. The significance of both past and modern human impacts for ecosystems will be shown. Attention is paid to natural and anthropogenic processes of landscapes development in the mid-latitudes during the Late Pleistocene and Holocene.

The seminar will take place every winter- and summer semester and allows 28 participants in total, divided into two groups of 14 students each. More information can be found in the SS2021 Moodle course (link).
