Advertisement of Scholarships for Doctoral Studies in the area of „Dependable Hardware/Software Systems“

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offers 2 scholarships for doctoral students over a duration of 3 years in the frame of the "Graduate School Scholarship Program" (GSSP) of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Payment is 1000 € per month, starting in 2016. Additional expenses for insurances and for travel costs may also be paid. Successful applicants must get enrolled in the program of studies towards a "PhD in Dependable Hardware/Software Systems".

The call is open only for applicants who are not German citizens or who have not lived in Germany continuously for the last 15 months.

Applicants must have a Bachelor and a Master degree in computer science, computer engineering or related areas, which are recognized by German universities. They must also give an outline of research interests, from which a supervising professor can be identified. Furthermore, recommendations from 2 former professors are required. Admission to studies and a scholarship is based on assessments by both the hosting university and DAAD.
