There are two primary strategies for the implementation of Open Access: the 'golden road' and the 'green road'. Both paths - first publication and second publication - complement each other.

The international Open Access Week 2020 begins today. The aim is to take up the topic of Open Access locally at many different locations worldwide during this week in order to promote free access to knowledge and information from publicly funded research and to provide information locally.

On Tuesday, 6th of October 2020, the University Library at all three locations opens only from 12 noon.
