Exhibithion "Vorsichtig.Glas"

Art on glass by Inna Perkas.

I. Perkas is a conceptual artist and works abstractly in different directions (painting, collage, monotype). The abstraction of her works is always anchored in life, as she deals with the projections of feelings, thoughts, experiences and moments into the pictures, with the translations of emotions into the language of art.

Formally, each of her works consists of ten parts, of which the first nine - each one a rounded work in itself and the tenth - is a protocol of the work.

For I. Perkas, glass works have a special meaning and a special charm: on the one hand, reverse glass painting requires a lot of concentration, since "right and left" and "front and back", unlike painting on canvas, are created in exactly the opposite position to their position visible to the viewer; on the other hand, a lot of patience and attentiveness is required because of the fragility of the medium.
