Explore the Middle East Cooperation Unit (MEC), a collaborative urban platform hosted by the Chair of Landscape Architecture. Established in 2003,  the MEC facilitates the exchange of ideas at the intersection of urban design, conservation and development. As an interdisciplinary initiative affiliated with the Master's programme in Urban Design and Sustainable Revitalization, the MEC serves as a catalyst for meaningful academic partnerships.

Through exchange programmes, capacity-building initiatives, and interdisciplinary research, we invite you to engage with our various projects and workshops. Together, we explore the complexities of integrated urban conservation and development across the MENA region.
