BTU presents its dual study programmes
How does a co-op programme work? How do you find a dual study place and the right practice partner? These and many other questions will be answered at the large information event in the BTU's central lecture theatre building. At the same time, participants will be able to meet employers offering dual study places and talk to practice partners, who may already be getting to know their future dual students for the 2026/2027 winter semester.
The dovetailing of theory and practice, remuneration from the practice partner for the entire duration of the programme and an almost seamless transition into a career are just some of the advantages offered by the co-op programme. Dual study programmes are also available here in the region. With around 300 cooperating companies - many of them directly from Lusatia - BTU has been offering excellent conditions for a co-op programme for years. The event provides information about the dual study programmes and shows which regional employers offer suitable practical placements.

Background
There are currently 83 dual work placements available. Experience shows that this number will continue to rise in the coming weeks. BTU offers both the practice-integrated and the training-integrated dual model: The co-op programme with integrated vocational training combines a degree course with numerous practical placements at the "learning location practice partner"; in the training-integrated model, students also complete vocational training recognised by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce or Chamber of Crafts during the course of their studies.
