Interdisciplinary college in the scholarship focus area "Better management and living in cycles - transformation potential of the circular economy"

Interdisciplinary research group in the scholarship focus "Better management and living in cycles - transformation potentials of the circular economy"

In the research group, 10-15 scholarship holders from different disciplinary perspectives are researching the conditions for the emergence and success as well as the transformation potential of various approaches to the circular economy. The research group addresses the challenges of a circular economy throughout the entire life cycle of products and for a sustainable economy and life in cycles. In particular, this concerns questions from the social sciences, humanities, law, economic sciences and the arts, but also from technical, mathematics and natural science disciplines. As part of an accompanying project, a broad-based interdisciplinary cohort will contribute to a transdisciplinary exchange within the framework of various joint workshops and other activities, thereby promoting both interdisciplinary learning and the creation of a lasting network in the scientific community. In addition, this network should provide an impulse towards society and contribute to a broad discourse using the means of modern science communication.
