Digital Repository of BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg

To register your publications (e.g. articles in academic journals) in the University Bibliography please fill in the form of UBICO.

OPUS is a service that allows staff members and students of Brandenburg University of Technology to publish scholarly documents (journal articles, doctoral theses, conference proceedings etc.) free of charge on the Internet. The documents will be freely available, archived permanently on the OPUS server and are easy to find by search engines.

Within the Digital Repository there is top left a button to switch to the English surface if necessary.

DOI service

Upon request, you can apply for a free DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for your publication by e-mail. This enables the permanent availability and referencing of electronic publications. The DOI can be generated before the activation and should be specified in the document. Use the registration form to transfer the metadata of your publication to our Digital Repository (OPUS). Otherwise you can ask a librarian. Afterwards we will inform you about the DOI of your publication. Please include the DOI in the imprint of your document. For dissertations, please insert it at the bottom left of the back cover page of your publication. The subsequent DOI application for already published publications is not possible. Requirement for the assignment of a DOI is that no DOI has yet been awarded for the publication.

The DOI-Service of the University Library of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is operated in cooperation with the TIB Hannover / DataCite.
