Verónica Rosales holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Cuenca, Ecuador, with a major in Conservation of Architectural and Urban Heritage, and a Joint M.A. in Heritage Conservation and Site Management from BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg and Helwan University in Cairo.

At BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg, she works as research associate at the Chair of Sociology of Technology and the Environment, where she coordinates academic and intercultural exchange as well as international cooperation within the M.A. Transformation Studies programme, particularly in the context of the  EUNICE European University Alliance  framework.

She is currently pursuing a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Regenerative Materials at ETH Zürich, supported by the Ricola Foundation in Switzerland and the Equal Opportunities Office at BTU.
