Women (want to) lead, but differently!
In her keynote speech, Lilian Gehrke-Vetterkind takes up key aspects from her current book "Frau kann Chef. Taking the lead with joy and serenity" and will use her qualitative interview study with 50 women, among other things, to present the framework conditions in companies that would make women want to take on a management position. However, it is not enough to rely on the company management alone and hope that the situation will be changed "by those at the top". We women are also called upon to make the world of work more attractive for us by taking action ourselves. This requires courage, self-confidence - and strong networks. But how can women succeed in taking on a position of responsibility and becoming/remaining a manager without overshadowing their female strengths? Lilian Gehrke-Vetterkind provides motivating impulses for this.
Lilian Gehrke-Vetterkind has a degree in business administration and worked successfully in financial sales for over 10 years. In the following years, she worked increasingly as a consultant for personnel and organizational development, as a project manager, trainer and moderator. In mid-2021, she finally founded her own consulting boutique and has been successfully advising companies on diversity and inclusion ever since.
She is particularly interested in female leadership. On August 29, 2023, her book "Frau kann Chef. Taking the lead with joy and serenity" was published by GABAL-Verlag (https://gehrkevetterkind.com/produkt/buch-frau-kann-chef/). She has also launched her own leadership development program for women - the Young Female Leadership Program.
