Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is firmly committed to equal opportunities and equality for female and male scientists in the German science system. With additional measures and resources, it intends to further advance the equality of women and men in science. In this context, the implementation of equality measures in the course of the Equal Opportunities Act is to be continued. On the other hand, the topic of equality - which as a goal already has a prominent significance for the work at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg - is to play an even greater role in the future in the university's own funding activities for young female scientists and women on committees, in order to sustainably improve the quality at all qualification levels in the science system and to increase the number of female scientists in top positions in the science sector.
