Protection against discrimination

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is committed to an organizational culture of respect, equal opportunity and appreciation with its agreement "For respectful and collegial cooperation, for conflict resolution at the workplace and place of study". It is committed to the principle of non-discrimination. It explicitly speaks out against xenophobia, sexism and radicalizing anti-democratic opinions.

The anti-discrimination officer, the conflict prevention commission, the persons of trust at the BTU, a large counseling network at our university and, last but not least, the equal opportunity officers work closely with the university management to take preventive action against discrimination of any kind and to give those affected the necessary support and backing.
