Support for female board members and local equality officers
To support and encourage the involvement of female committee members and decentralised equality officers, the BTU provides funding to help ease their workload. This support can take the form of funding for staff resources to employ student workers. In addition, upon application, funding is also granted for items such as participation in further training or for technical equipment required for committee work.
Who is sponsored?
All local equality officers, female members of the Senate, the Senate committees and the faculty councils from every staff category are eligible to apply for this funding.
Application
If you are a member of both the Senate and a Faculty Council, you may submit two applications.
Funding is always subject to financial criteria. There is no legal entitlement to funding.
Please note! Local equality officers within the central administration and the IKMZ: As these are administrative bodies, you may only apply for funding for other promotional and support measures (e.g. training, coaching, networking, specialist literature).
| Application for personnel funds: The funds applied for should be used to support your own academic work or your work as a committee member. The specific tasks of the assistant who will support you in your work in teaching and research must be explained accordingly in the application form. When submitting the application, it is essential to state the amount of personnel funds required in each case. This serves the purpose of better planning or commitment of the equal opportunity funds. | Application for material funds: The funds are to be applied for informally in an e-mail. The following must be stated: the nature and extent of the burden of committee work, the nature and amount of the relief requested, and the purpose of the use of the requested material funds. Material funds can be requested e.g.
