Britta Rudolff als Mitglied des Denkmalbeirats der Stadt Cottbus ernannt.

Im Auftrag des Bürgermeisters Holger Kelch überreichte Peter Nitschke, Leiter des Fachbereichs Bauordnung Frau Dr. Rudolff die Ernennungsurkunde. Sie wird zukünftig den Bürgermeister in kritischen Fragen der Cottbuser Denkmallandschaft beraten.
Der Denkmalbeirat ist ein ehrenamtlicher Beirat, welcher den Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Cottbus in Fragen des Denkmalschutz, des Kulturerbemanagements und der Vermittlung und Ausweisung von Kulturdenkmälern berät. Frau Dr. Rudolff wurde am 4. Mai 2017 durch einen offiziellen Ernennungsakt zum Mitglied dieses Beirat bestellt und durfte in ihrer ersten offiziellen Sitzung in einem eigenen Tagesordnungspunkt das BTU-Projekt „Mein Denkmal in Cottbus“ vorstellen. Ebenso wurde in der Sitzung die bevorstehende Sanierung für einen barrierefreien Zugang zum Kavalierhaus im Branitzer Park diskutiert.
Der Denkmalbeirat der Stadt Cottbus hat empfehlenden Charakter. Er besteht zur Zeit aus 17 stimmberechtigen Mitgliedern, die von Fraktionen oder bedeutenden Cottbuser Institutionen entsandt sind oder auch als individuelle Experten und sachkündige Bürger agieren. Neben seiner beratenden Tätigkeit vergibt der Denkmalbeirat jährlich den Denkmalpreis der Stadt Cottbus.

Dr. Britta Rudolff is a member of the Advisory Council on Cultural Monuments of the city of Cottbus.

On behalf Mr Holger Kelch, mayor of the city of Cottbus, Mr Peter Nitschke, head of the Department of Building Regulations, has appointed Dr Rudolff as a member of the Advisory Council on Cultural Monuments of Cottbus. In the future, she will advise the mayor on critical issues concerning the historic landscape of Cottbus.
The Advisory Council on Cultural Monuments is an honorary advisory council, which advises the mayor of Cottbus on matters relating to the protection of historical monuments, cultural heritage management and the designation of cultural monuments. Dr. Rudolff was appointed member of the Advisory Board by an official appointment act on May 4, 2017, where she also presented the BTU project "My Monument in Cottbus". The conference also discussed the upcoming rehabilitation for barrier-free access to the Kavalierhaus in Branitzer Park.
The Advisory Council on Cultural Monuments of the city of Cottbus has an advisory nature. The council currently consists of 17 voting members, whom are delegated by political groups or important Cottbus institutions, or as individual experts and competent citizens. In addition to his advisory duties, the advisory council annually awards the Cottbus Memorial Prize.
