Content:

The lecture will teach basic theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for understanding, conception, execution and documentation of building archaeology. The lessons will touch history and methodology of research in this field combining the use of surveying tools and techniques and appropriate ways of describing building archaeological evidence.

The lecture is conceived as a fundamental preparation for a one week practical exercise in investigation and documentation. The results of this exercise will have to be prepared for presentation as the base for academic assessment.

Limited to 15 participants (Students from HCSM will be preferred)!
