Short biography

Sepideh Zarrin Ghalam is an architect, urbanist and researcher specialized in integrated urban conservation and development. She holds a PhD in Architecture with a focus on the Historic Urban Landscape approach. Since 2014, Sepideh has been involved in teaching as well as project development and coordination, actively contributing to international university cooperation projects focused on urban revitalization and recovery in the MENA region (see MEC Unit). She is also the academic coordinator of the double degree track of the Masters programme in Urban Design and Sustainable Revitalization between BTU, Cairo University and Alexandria University.
