Amman Workshop 20 - 26 November 2022

Our second workshop took place at the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) of German Jordanian University (GJU) with the focus on contextual understanding and analysing the (post) conflict situation in various case study areas in Syria.

This 7-day event was the follow up of the on-going studies, workshops, consultations and seminars that had been carried out from the beginning of the project. The workshop included three types of activities: online introductory rounds of the cases by the main groups to the new participants, in-person lectures and on-site excursions. The outcome was a series of integrated guidelines and innovative interventions that would feed into the (post)conflict strategic framework for recovery and rehabilitation of the case studies. (see the programme)

The workshop report will be published here soon.
