Machining

Machining

Machining refers to a group of manufacturing methods used to bring workpieces into a specific geometric shape or size. In this process, excess material is removed from blanks by cutting it off mechanically in the form of chips. This process is carried out using special tools that remove the material by grinding, drilling or milling. During the cutting process, the workpiece is precisely machined by bringing it into contact with a rotating tool. This tool removes material layer by layer to create the desired geometry. Since the machining process is often the final step in the process, the accuracy and quality of the cutting here has a significant impact on the condition of the final geometry and surface of the product.

Modern machining techniques employ advanced machines and computer-controlled Systems to ensure the highest levels of precision and efficiency. The choice of the appropriate cutting method as well as the tools depends on various factors, such as the material of the workpiece, the desired machining objectives and the technical requirements.
