The workshop project is working with regional stakeholders to develop a concept for a cross-border health region. This involves identifying, linking and further developing existing networks, initiatives and services in the health and social sectors. 

The focus is on co-creative collaboration between the social economy, local authorities, academia, the voluntary sector and civil society initiatives on both sides of the border. The aim is to jointly develop solutions that respond to the actual needs of people in the region and build sustainable structures for the long term.  

The "AgePol" project is part of the inter-university transfer initiative AlterPerimentale: "Socio-technical innovations and socio-spatial experiments to improve the quality of life of older people in the German-Polish border region" (Age-Periphery Experiment).
