Subsidies for printing and publishing costs
BTU female* scientists from the Master's phase onwards have the opportunity to apply for a grant of up to €1,500 per year for scientific publications or €300 per year for the printing costs of scientific (final) theses. Translations and transcriptions are also eligible for funding. This measure supports faster access to the scientific community for female scientists in qualification phases. This in turn opens up new opportunities for public awareness, scientific cooperation and networking.
Who is supported?
BTU female* scientists in qualification phases (from Master's degree onwards) are eligible to apply. Grants are awarded as needed and subject to the availability of funds. There is no legal entitlement to funding.
Application Application deadline: 31 May 2026
Please submit an informal application with the following information:
- Title of the publication/translation/transcription,
- Amount of funding requested,
- Submission period,
- Brief description of costs (cost estimate, quote, web research, etc.),
- Letter of motivation (max. 1 page) explaining how the funding will help your academic career.
