Financial support for BTU female* scientists in qualification phases through scholarships and travel grants from the Equal Opportunities Office | Application deadline May 31, 2023

Beginning April 19, 2023, the BTU Debate Club will meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in Bühne 8. Debates will be held in German and English. All interested parties are welcome!

The Equal Opportunity Office will again award travel grants to young female scientists in 2023. The application deadline for the 1st round of calls is March 31, 2023.

The BTU has explicitly set itself the goal of further increasing the proportion of women in the entire field of science. Equality of all genders, equal opportunities and family orientation therefore form important cross-sectional tasks and basic principles at our university.

The motto of the 33rd Brandenburg Women's Week is "Not with us!" and calls for opposing discrimination, increasing the visibility of women in all areas of life and celebrating their diversity.

In 2023, the BTU will again award prizes for committed female students - the "Best female STEM student at the BTU 2022" prize (for bachelor's and master's students) and the sponsorship prize of the "Frauenhilfswerk Cottbus e.V." association. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2023.
