New digital hardness tester for the chair of Polymer-based Lightweight Design (PbL)

PbL further expands capabilities in the field of testing technology

Since the beginning of August, the Chair of Polymer-Based Lightweight Design (PbL) has owned a new digital hardness tester from ZwickRoell. As a result, the chair is now able to examine soft rubber, elastomers, natural rubber, hard rubber and rigid thermoplastics for their hardness according to Shore A, Shore D, ISO 48-4 and ASTM D 2240. In this way, PbL is expanding its skills and competencies in the field of material testing.
