"Student conference for lightweight construction technologies"

By participating in a "simulated" conference, this seminar aims to teach scientific work according to the DFG standard. The focus is on the basics of planning, conducting and analysing scientific experiments and their publication. Under the guidance of a mentor, students will independently carry out experiments in the experimental fields of the chair and prepare and then present the results obtained in the form of an abstract and a paper.

Topics

depending on the topic chosen in a current field of research:

  • Evaluating, conducting and analysing complex test engineering test series (Design Of Experiments)
  • Practical application of CAD & FEM software
  • Dealing with new manufacturing and processing methods
  • Modern testing and analysis techniques
