Network access for events
The following access procedures are available as alternatives for network provision at events:
1. Worldwide eduroam network
Guests of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg who belong to a research institution participating in the eduroam service can use the wireless LAN of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg at any time and without further formalities (i.e. also at events). Users of the eduroam service can obtain support for configuring their end devices at their home institution.
2. Guest access
For events held at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, access to the network can be provided in consultation with the organiser (tailored to the requirements of the respective event). The following services are provided by IT Services:

- Provision of a web interface for easy activation of network access for guests
- Generation of guest accounts (for logging into the above-mentioned web interface):
1. by the computer centre
2. by registered system administrators - Provision of information flyers with instructions on network access for guest users
