1. CMS-Typo3

A powerful WWW server based on the Typo3 content management system is operated for the presentation of the BTU's structural units on the Internet

  • Configuration and operation of an Apache-PHP-mySQL installation
  • Access via WebDAV
  • Authentication in the backend
  • Provision of PHP extensions, Oracle, GD
  • Ensuring a constant and consistent namespace

2. HTML presentations

For structural units that do not require the complex functionality of a CMS, an additional web server with Apache-PHPmySQL software is offered.

  • Upload option via WebDAV
  • Authentication via the BTU account
  • Provision of PHP extensions

3. Document storage

A document server is provided for publishing extensive documents on the World Wide Web. The directory structure is based on the central namespace. Each unit is assigned an area for the access levels ‘worldwide’, ‘BTU internal’, ‘with BTU account’ and ‘private’.

4. Java application server

Apache Tomcat servers are used for web applications based on J2EE.
