Ilija Vukorep ist seit 2006 Professor für Digitale Entwurfsmethoden. Als Architekt gründete er 1999 mit Partnern das Büro LOMA architecture.landscape.urbanism. Von 2009 bis 2011 war er Gastprofessor an der Universität Kassel. Nach seinem Diplom arbeitete er in Architekturbüros in Japan und Spanien. In seinem Büro gewann er internationale und nationale Wettbewerbe wie Auszeichnung der Deutschen Landschaftsarchitektur - Digitale Innovationen, San Francisco Prize, Europan oder den AR&D-Award. Sein Schwerpunkt in der Lehre und Forschung sind computergestützte Entwurfsmethoden und Fabrikation. Er ist Mitglied im Institut für neue Industriekultur und im Institut für schwimmende Bauten.
