Claudia Tluste is a Malacologist, concentrating on the eatable roman snail and its meaning for the ecosystem. She holds a B.A. in Creative Therapy / Psychology and a M.A. in Economic sciences. She wrote her Master thesis about the economical use of snail meat. Since winter 2016 she is a doctoral candidate at the department for Ecology at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Her main interest is the relation between snails and their ecosystem and the anthropological influence on it.
