EES Campus contract

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg has joined the Microsoft Campus and School Subscription framework agreement (EES Campus Agreement) between the Leibniz Computing Centre (LRZ) in Munich and Microsoft Deutschland GmbH.

This lays the foundation for ensuring the correct licensing of workstations at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg through the unlimited, university-wide use of standard Microsoft software (Office ProPlus, Windows and server products), thereby providing legal certainty.

1. MS Campus 3 Desktop incl. Software Assurance, Windows
Windows Professional/Enterprise/Education upgrade (a qualifying operating system on the hardware in use is required).
Core CAL (CAL = Client Access Licence) Suite, includes CALs for access to:

  • Windows Server CAL
  • Exchange Server CAL

Downloading and installing Office Pro Plus

You can download the installation packages for the latest versions of Office for Windows and Mac from our web server here.

A window will first appear in which you must accept the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg Software Licence Agreement and the Terms of Use for the EES Campus contract. Then click the download link for the required version again, and the installation package will start downloading immediately.

Access is restricted to the campus network (Wi-Fi / VPN).

Support

The data centre cannot provide support for Office Pro Plus; please contact Microsoft Support if you encounter any problems.

Installation instructions

  1. Please check that the selected version of Office Pro Plus is compatible with your operating system.
  2. You must have an archive extraction programme such as WinRAR or 7-Zip installed on your PC; otherwise, the links will not work.
  3. The download will only work if you are on the BTU network.
