Begrüßung Jing Chen

Hier ist eine kurze Vorstellung von Jing in ihren eigenen Worten:

I’m from China and did my Bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering at Hefei University of Technology. Later, I moved to the Netherlands and completed my Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I’m currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus–Senftenberg.

My work mainly focuses on combinatorial optimization and exploring how large language models can help solve complex optimization problems. More generally, I’m interested in optimization, reasoning, and intelligent systems for decision making.

I enjoy discussing research ideas, interesting problems, and occasionally completely random topics. Outside of academia, I like hiking, traveling, discovering new places, and spending time with cats. I’d describe myself as curious, easygoing, and always happy to meet new people and exchange ideas.
