Informationen zur Evakuierung im Zuge einer Bombenentschärfung /Information on evacuation in the course of bomb disposal

Am 1. März 2021 wird eine Weltkriegsbombe in der Virchowstraße in Cottbus entschärft. Innerhalb des Sperrkreises bleiben alle Gebäude am Montag verschlossen. Die Maßnahme beginnt um 8 Uhr und endet voraussichtlich mit der Sprengung gegen 16 Uhr. Eine mögliche Verlängerung über diese Zeit hinaus ist einzuplanen. Für den gesamten Zeitraum wird ein Sperrkreis eingerichtet, wobei die jeweils angrenzenden Straßen zum Sperrkreis gehören.

Während dieser Zeit dürfen sich keine Personen im Sperrbereich aufhalten. Innerhalb des Sperrkreises bleiben alle Gebäude am Montag verschlossen.

Die Stadt Cottbus bietet als Ausweichquartier die Sporthalle des Max-Steenbeck-Gymnasiums an, das Studentenwerk Frankfurt (Oder) stellt zusätzlich die Räumlichkeit der Mensa am Campus Sachsendorf zur Verfügung.

Die Aufhebung der Sperrzeit erfolgt ausschließlich durch unseren Wachdienst (Tel.+49 355 69 2152) vor Ort, nach Freigabe durch die Ordnungskräfte bzw. die Feuerwehr der Stadt Cottbus.

Prüfungen, die in Präsenz im Zentralen Hörsaalgebäude (Audimax 1 und 2) sowie im Großen Hörsaal oder im Hauptgebäude stattfinden sollten, wurden verlegt. Die neuen Räume oder der neue Termin werden durch die Prüfer*innen mitgeteilt. Studierende, die an einer Online-Prüfung teilnehmen sollen, aber ihr Wohnheimzimmer oder ihre Wohnung an dem Tag nicht nutzen können, melden sich bitte bei ihren Prüfer*innen, damit alternative Lösungen gefunden werden können.

The city of Cottbus is offering the sports hall of the Max-Steenbeck-Gymnasium as an alternative location, and the Studentenwerk Frankfurt (Oder) is also making the refectory on the Sachsendorf campus available.

The curfew will be lifted exclusively by our security service (Tel. +49 355 69 2152) on site, after release by the security forces or the fire brigade of the city of Cottbus.

Examinations that were to take place in the Central Lecture Hall Building (Audimax 1 and 2) as well as in the Large Lecture Hall or in the Main Building have been relocated. You will be informed of the new rooms or the new date by the examiners. Students who are supposed to take an online exam but cannot use their dormitory room or flat on that day should contact their examiners so that alternative solutions can be found.
