Deleting emails
To delete one (or more) emails, select the corresponding checkboxes to the left of the emails in the folder view and then click on Delete before performing any other operation or scrolling to another page. They will then appear crossed out on a dark grey background. To permanently delete emails deleted in this way, you click on Delete permanently (top right).
If you have set Settings/Webmail/Delete and move messages so that deleted messages are not marked as deleted but moved to the trash folder, this folder will be emptied automatically after a certain period of time (default value 30 days).
If you need to free up disk space, click on Empty trash in the toolbar.
If there are many emails in a folder, they will be displayed on several screen pages. Selection marks that are on a page other than the one currently displayed will disappear unless Delete has already been activated for the previous pages. To be on the safe side, delete each page individually or check the result of the deletion.
