Workshop with school students

Part of the study project and course "Carbon3EX: Excavation, Extraction, Exploitation-Timescapes and geo-logics of Lusatia".

On Monday 29th August, BTU's master students part of the study project and course "Carbon3EX: Excavation, Extraction, Exploitation-Timescapes and geo-logics of Lusatia" offered by the Chair of Technoscience Studies led a workshop with school students from Germany, Poland, Romania, Greece and Ukraine. The workshop is part of an strategic alliance with the UNESCO Global Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen and opened a dialog about coal extraction, the role of coal in the territories and communities, and present and future challenges in the region and worldwide.
