Have you ever thought about how you can form groups without a long count or arbitrary divisions? FindMe offers you a creative and fun way to loosen up participants and integrate them into groups at the same time. Instead of simply determining the groups, the participants search for similarities themselves by discovering symbols on picture cards. This not only funds getting to know each other, but also ensures that the group bonds immediately. The game is ideal for forming new sub-groups for larger groups of up to 36 participants - whether for working on tasks, reflecting or simply loosening up a session. The cards are numbered and contain 18 different symbols or search terms (e.g. hot drink, weather, fast food) that help participants to find their groups based on these characteristics. The principle ensures that the groups are as well mixed as possible.

FindMe is a simple but effective method that funds team building and communication - all while having a lot of fun! It is perfect for use in various group contexts - be it in schools, at team-building events or in workshops. The playful method makes group bonding not only efficient but also entertaining.

Structure and procedure

  • Select the cards according to the number of participants, starting with card number 1 (e.g. cards 1 to 12 for 12 people).
  • Give the participants the instruction: "Find the same..." (e.g. "Find someone who has the same symbol as you").
  • The participants now look for those who have the same symbol on their card.
  • Once the groups have been found, the participants can work on a task in their new groups or exchange ideas.
