Place
You need a flat table surface on which the sticks fall freely and are easy to grip.
Set-up and procedure
Hold the sticks in your hand so that your fist is resting on the table. Open your hand suddenly so that the sticks fall in a circle onto the table. If the throw is bad, you can repeat it once.
- Start: Once the sticks are on the table, each player in turn tries to pick up the sticks one by one without moving another stick.
- Mikado st icks: If you pick up the Mikado (the stick with the spiral), you can use it to help you pick up more sticks.
- Technique: Press the tip of the stick with your finger to remove it safely. If another stick moves, your turn is over and it is the next player's turn.
- Game rounds: The number of game rounds is agreed beforehand. The winner is the player who has scored the most points at the end.
Points are awarded according to the markings on the sticks:
- Mikado with spiral: 20 points

- Chopsticks with red/yellow/blue markings: 3 points each (45 points in total)
- Sticks with red/blue markings: 2 points each (30 points in total)
(Note: The total number of points differs from the game instructions as the set of sticks is not complete).
