Room without walls

A protected space that funds emotional encounters - how often do we wish for that? The exercise allows the group to experience first-hand the feeling of being surrounded, supported and sometimes moved by the team. Set-up and procedure

The rope is laid out in the shape of a circle with the ends knotted together. The participants sit down in the circle and either lean back with the rope behind them or hold it in their hands so that it is taut. The idea behind this is to feel the mutual support that gives them the space to discuss what is on their minds. Alternatively, exercises can of course also be carried out that focus on body interactions. For example, one person can suddenly stand up, let go of the rope and run away. The mutual dynamic quickly becomes visible: if one person lets go, the circle starts to shake and the group should develop a feeling for stabilising each other despite the dynamic. This creates a highly dynamic team coordination.
