The diamond factory A resource-orientated therapy game for therapeutic and educational work with children and young people
Are you brave, creative or funny? And do you actually know what makes you unique? The diamond factory is all about discovering your inner strengths - your resources - developing them further and finding new ones. The game invites children and young people to learn more about themselves and their abilities in a relaxed atmosphere. On a colourful game board full of exciting stations, players move through a factory where diamonds are produced. They solve tasks, answer questions or receive support from "helpers" to recognise their personal strengths. With each challenge mastered, not only does the collection of diamonds grow, but also the awareness of one's own uniqueness. The game has been specially developed for therapeutic and educational purposes and is suitable for individual or group settings. It funds self-esteem, strengthens self-efficacy and creates a playful basis for working with resources. With extensive game material and clear instructions, the Diamond Factory offers low-threshold access to resource-oriented work and can be used in a variety of ways - from child and adolescent psychiatry to counselling and school social work.

Setup and procedure
After setting up the game board and preparing the game pieces and theme cards, the players move through the factory by rolling the dice. Depending on the field type, they answer resource questions, solve small tasks, use scaling or draw helper cards to collect diamonds. In the development department, they work specifically on selected strengths. The game ends when everyone has reached the goal and their diamonds have been counted. The diamond note serves as a tangible reminder of the knowledge gained.
