Floor mosaic

Inventing and laying imaginative shapes - wooden mosaic pegging games are educationally valuable learning games that fund spatial imagination and train motor skills. They consist of various geometric mosaic pieces that are put together. Important skills such as recognising colours and shapes are addressed, as is creativity.

Set-up and procedure

All the mosaic pieces are laid out in the centre. The child/children can now independently select and combine pieces and ultimately create shapes by putting them together. From flowers to animals to jumping jacks - there are no limits to the imagination.

Note: To get started, you can also use a template for predetermined pictures and shapes that can be created to stimulate creativity.

The mosaic game is also available in the laboratory as a table mosaic!
