Fancy pulling one?
Binge drinking can be dangerous, in particular if young people drink too often. Addiction or damage to nerve cells are just two of the many consequences that entail a high risk, especially at a young age. Added to this is a high noise level that disturbs the environment, social aberrations and perhaps even violence. But how do you bring young people to their senses without spoiling their fun? How can these young people be persuaded to drink less and in a more controlled way?
The question cards "Do you fancy taking one?" are an uncomplicated introduction to the topic. After some hesitant introductions, the people addressed find these stylishly designed cards interesting and promptly jump at them.
"How many toilet bowls have you cuddled with due to alcohol?" or "After the party - are you taking your friends home or are you being taken home?" are just two of the many questions that young people actually respond to.
We would like to express our special thanks to the Bavarian Centre for Prevention and Health Promotion (ZPG)which provided us with a free copy for the laboratory!

Structure and procedure
By looking at the cards together, talking and discussing, many young people begin to question their consumption behaviour or reflect on their own experiences. The cards are a good tool for getting in touch with young people and talking about problematic drinking behaviour in a relaxed and low-threshold way.
