Jonny" body man

The "Jonny" body man was named after its inventor, Prof. Dr Ernst J. ("Jonny") Kiphard. Kiphard was a German sports pedagogue and is considered the founder of German psychomotor skills. "Jonny" is ideal for perceptual activities and for training body awareness. You can design him according to your imagination or according to predetermined patterns. Conversely, you can also imitate the posture of "Jonny".

Place

An empty table or a clean floor area is sufficient. Make sure there is enough space so that you can move around freely and set up Jonny in different positions.

Set-up and sequence

The material consists of 16 body parts - made of natural plywood, sanded and clear lacquered, with connecting plugs for flexible assembly.

  • Assembly: Start assembling "Jonny" piece by piece. Make sure that the parts are firmly connected to each other.
  • Shaping: Set up "Jonny" in different poses. You can make him sit, stand or even balance.
  • Imitate: Try to imitate the posture of "Jonny". This will help you to train your body awareness.
  • Vary: Take "Jonny" apart and put him back together again. Try out different poses or let your imagination run wild and invent new shapes.
