Queer package for youth work
Are you wondering whether your programmes also appeal to queer young people? Would you like to be able to talk about sexual and gender diversity in a relaxed way? There's a solution - the queer pack for youth work! The Queer Package is a collection of materials and a new type of training programme. It is aimed specifically at professionals and those active in youth work and provides them with materials to address topics such as queerness, LGBTIQ* hostility or gender diversity and to engage in dialogue with young people.
We would like to express our special thanks to the LSVD, which provided us with a copy of the queer pack free of charge. You can find out more about the pack here: https: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVEeAb1Qkqg

Structure and procedure
What does the package offer? The Diversity Check offers impulses to enter into dialogue with colleagues about the acceptance of diverse lifestyles and identities in professional work, to reflect on attitudes and to talk about the openness of one's own institution. The diversity calendar aims to inspire actions, projects or conversations on specific occasions (e.g. "Coming Out Day" or "Lesbian Visibility Day"). The cards Diversity in Conversation - Discussion Impulses can be used as an accompaniment. The diversity game "Mensch, L!" is aimed directly at young people and draws the players into a little adventure full of tasks and puzzles. They immerse themselves in the world of a young queer person and learn how important mutual empowerment, cohesion and democratic participation are. The diversity primer is the centrepiece of the package. It shows you how you can talk calmly about the most important concepts of sexual and gender diversity. The primer supports professionals and young people in this. It is also part of the diversity game "Mensch, L!" and can also be used in combination with the Diversity in dialogue cards. The stickers, rainbow flag and all-gender card help to show the openness and support of the organisation and the professionals.
