LGBTI*Q - or what?! What does the abbreviation LGBTI*Q mean? What does coming out mean? Since when has homosexuality no longer been a criminal offence in Germany? The importance of queer educational work can currently be seen in the ever-growing debate. This brochure aims to address whether and to what extent gender-appropriate speech and the visualisation of queer identities are necessary in our society. It is an educational and information brochure that was created as part of the "Education under the rainbow" project in collaboration with the "Specialist centre for gender and sexual diversity in the state of Brandenburg" and with the support of CSD Cottbus/Niederlausitz.
It is aimed at young people who want to find out more about the topics of sexual and gender diversity, as well as teachers and professionals. The booklet is ideal for educational and awareness-raising work, as it not only contains short knowledge quizzes, but also exciting texts for critical reflection. From gender and the free development of personality to discrimination and marginalisation... it's worth a look!
