Procedure and set-up
After each participant has chosen a pawn, the event cards are stacked face down and placed next to the playing field. Each participant receives a food chip. The hourglass is also provided. The starting player rolls the dice and moves their figure forward according to the symbol on the special dice. If you get a plaster leg, you must stop or move 2 spaces for a food chip. If you get a hippopotamus symbol, you can move to the next special space (action or event space). You must always stop at a special space and draw a corresponding card. There you are given tasks that you have to explain to your fellow players, whereby the action fields have different symbols that determine the type of explanation. You can explain the term verbally, by pantomime or with the help of a sound. If a player manages to find the solution they are looking for, the guessing player receives a food chip and the explaining player can move their figure one step further along the rollercoaster board - onto a sofa.... If you don't make it, you have to try again in the next round. You can only buy your way out of this space by handing over 2 food chips. By handing out food chips, 'untalented' players are given a chance to leave the action field again and continue participating. If a player reaches an event field, one card is taken from event pile I and one from pile II and read out. If the task from I can be fulfilled with the condition from II, then the player may attempt to fulfil the task set. If you succeed, you receive a food chip and can move to the next sofa space. If you don't succeed, you get nothing and the figure is moved to the sofa space. If you cannot fulfil the condition, you are simply out of luck. Whoever reaches the starting space first with their pachyderm has almost won, but the other players can then advance their hippos by the number of food chips. The winner of the game is the one who is ahead.
