Plastic rings
Rings are a versatile tool for group and socio-educational exercises and games. They fund teamwork, coordination and creativity within the group. Here are some examples of how the rings can be used:
- Co-operation exercises: The rings can be used to complete team tasks. For example, participants in groups have to create certain patterns or shapes with the rings without speaking to each other. This strengthens non-verbal communication and joint problem-solving.
- Competitive exercises: Organise competitions in which participants have to place the rings on poles or sticks in a certain order as quickly as possible. This funds skill and team spirit when the groups compete against each other.
- Group formation: Use the rings to form groups. Each participant randomly draws a ring from a bag and then forms a group with other participants of the same colour. This can serve as an introduction to new projects or activities and helps to change the dynamics within the group.
A total of 58 small, differently coloured plastic rings with a diameter of 7 cm can be borrowed from the Laboratory for Didactics and Methods. These rings are available in the colours yellow (14x), red (15x), blue (15x) and green (14x).
