PerspActive Where are we and where do we want to go?

With "PerspActive", the group practises dealing with change, teamwork and communication, learning that different perspectives and working positions must be utilised to successfully achieve goals. The exercise thus offers many points of reference for everyday situations in which people lose sight of the central theme. Only as soon as answers to the above question can be found is land in sight and a solution recognisable.

Set-up and sequence

The "PerspActive" lies in the centre at the beginning, all other participants stand around in a circle. The players each take one - or two, depending on the number of participants - strings in their hands. As soon as everyone is ready, the ball is placed in the transport tube. By skilfully turning the "PerspActive" in three dimensions, the ball should come out of the opening of the tube at the other end and ultimately land in the target box. The participants can move freely around the "PerspActive". It sounds easy, but it is difficult. The big challenge is that you have to keep an eye on the ball to know where it is and whether the intended direction is still correct. Each individual's perspective should be taken into account. If the direction is unclear, it becomes clear once again how important a common language and a common pace are. There is only a chance of success once all perspectives have been taken into account. Alternatively, it is possible for one participant to move freely and describe the direction.
